'The Day John Met Paul' has been awarded silver in the Music Special category of the Sony Awards.

The judges said "The imaginative use of archive material was combined with contextual interviews to recreate the origins of the major musical phenomenon of the twentieth century at a Liverpool church fete. It was not only highly informative, but also profoundly touching in its unaffected presentation of such a momentous narrative."
